A Record-Breaking Win for Our Schools: 2026 MEF Dodgeball Tournament Raises Over $20,000!

EAGLEVILLE, PA — The energy was electric, the competition was fierce, and the community spirit was unmatched! On Sunday, March 15th, the Methacton Education Foundation (MEF) hosted its annual Dodgeball Tournament, and we are thrilled to announce that it was our most successful event to date.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our players, spectators, and local partners, this year’s tournament raised over $20,000 to support Methacton students and educators.

From high-flying catches to precision throws, teams from across the district brought their "A-game" to the court. While the competition was intense, the day was defined by outstanding sportsmanship and a shared goal: investing in the future of our children.

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to this year’s tournament winners! Whether you took home the trophy or were eliminated in the first round, your participation made a tangible difference in our schools.

Where the Funds Go

The $20,000 raised during this event will go directly toward funding innovative educational programs that fall outside the standard school budget. This includes:

  • STEM Initiatives: Providing hands-on technology and equipment for future innovators.
  • Arts Enrichment: Expanding creative opportunities for students across all grade levels.
  • Student Grants: Empowering educators to bring creative classroom projects to life.
  • Career Readiness: Supporting programs that prepare Methacton students for life after graduation.

An event of this scale is a true team effort. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to:

  • Our Sponsors: Your financial support provides the foundation for everything we do.
  • Our Volunteers: From the referees to the registration desk, thank you for donating your time and energy.
  • The Methacton Community: Thank you for showing up, cheering loud, and proving once again why this is such a special place to live and learn.

If you missed out on the action this year, don't worry! We are already looking forward to 2027. In the meantime, you can continue to support our mission by visiting our donation page or following us on social media for updates on upcoming grants and events.
