The Methacton Education Foundation hosted its 3rd annual race back to school 5k on Sunday, September 21st, 2025. Over 200 people laced up their shoes to support a great cause. Kids and staff from all schools participated, along with many student and adult volunteers who helped the event run smoothly. In the end, the foundation raised over $15,000. Proceeds from the race go towards the Methacton Backpack program.

The Methacton Backpack program serves district families in need with supplemental food items. Our volunteers sort, pick, and pack hundreds of donations that are distributed on a monthly basis.

The Methacton Education Foundation hosts three major annual events. On November 19, 2025, the Foundation will present the Apex Awards, and in March, many students from the district participate in the annual dodgeball tournament.

The Methacton Education Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 2009, the Methacton Education Foundation has proudly helped fund the innovative proposals of Methacton staff - which has led to transformative programming at every grade level. We have supported innovative educational programs and enriching student learning throughout the district!
