The Methacton High School Electric Car Club was once again invited again to participate at the Philadelphia Auto Show!
In the photos, ECC members Satvik Kakkar, Anuraag Nadkarni and Will Gulian present projects that the club has been hard at work on, including the electric car, the electric bike, and the box-truck - which is used to charge the electric car, and was converted to run on vegetable oil. This "mobile classroom" is equipped with six renewable energy stations for students to explore inside the truck.
Our Methacton "celebrities" have been doing radio interviews and sharing their accomplishments throughout the show! The club recently acquired a donated 1970 Triumph Spitfire that they will begin converting to run on batteries this spring. #ClimbHigher
